Job summary

Ageas is seeking an Analytical Engineer to turn complex data into insights and scalable data products within a modern cloud data platform. You will collaborate with Data & AI engineers, scientists and developers to deliver data‑driven solutions and GenAI use cases across the business.

The role focuses on building robust data pipelines, data modelling and engineering robust datasets for analytics, in a hybrid working model with office attendance as required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks or Snowflake) in AWS environments.
• Advanced programming and data engineering skills in Python, PySpark and SQL, with ETL/data transformation expertise.
• Proven experience in data modelling end‑to‑end and performance optimisation using DBT and SparkSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data products within Ageas’ data platform.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines for analytics and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with product managers and agile squads to deliver data‑driven solutions including GenAI applications.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources with governance and quality standards.
• Contribute to analytics engineering processes and tooling across the data community.
