Job summary

Adecco is seeking an analytical development chemist to join a manufacturing site in Liverpool. The role supports QA, product testing and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Liverpool. Job Type: Temporary. Pay rate: £20.60 per hour. The ideal candidate will have lab experience in analytical testing, a degree in chemistry or related field, and strong attention to detail with a drive for quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Support development, validation and continuous improvement of analytical and QC methods.
• Ensure products meet quality, food safety and customer requirements.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Accurately record, analyse and report test results.
• Assist with quality investigations and customer queries.
