Job summary

AstraZeneca is offering a 12 month Industrial Placement in Analytical Chemistry at sites in Macclesfield and Cambridge, UK. The placement supports the development of analytical understanding to aid the progress of developing life-changing medicines within a dynamic team.

You will work with chromatographic, spectroscopic, hyphenated and other techniques (HPLC, NMR, LC-MS, XRPD), gaining hands-on experience while adhering to SHE, GMP and GLP standards.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking an undergraduate degree in Chemistry or related discipline with the opportunity to spend 1 year in industry starting in September 2027
• Able to provide an encouraged time commitment of 36.5 hours per Monday-Friday working week on Campus
