Job summary

MedPharm in Guildford seeks an Associate Scientist (Analytical) to perform analytical testing of pharmaceutical compounds, drug substance and drug product, supporting early and late development. You will execute HPLC and GC analyses and contribute to method development and validation in line with ICH/FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline.
• Familiarity with analytical equipment such as HPLC and GC.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC to support development of pharmaceutical drug products.
• Assist in method development, validation, and adherence to SOPs and internal QMS.
• Document experiments accurately and uphold GLP and data integrity standards.
• Analyze data and interpret results to support formulation development and product release.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments under supervisor guidance.
