Salary £45,000 - £60,000, plus bonus and benefits.
The Opportunity:
- Working for an ambitious, growing and innovative Private Credit focused investment business, this is an opportunity for a career minded individual
- Due to increased complexity of deals and general growth, my client is looking to expand their middle office Operations team to provide enhanced levels of support to the wider business
- Offering plenty of exposure to the front office Deal Teams, Fund Finance, Treasury etc., this role sits in the heart of the action and is very busy. No two days are the same
- More specific duties will include the maintenance (in Wall Street Office) of all amendments, waivers, corporate actions, trade activity and positions
- Investment level analysis, including asset level IRRs and MoMs
- Loan closing
- Analysis around periodic portfolio compliance
- Support to the investment teams on ad hoc requests - daily!
- Onboarding of new funds
Your Experience:
- You will have a strong record of academic achievement and have a can-do attitude
- The wider team is very social and close nit. Strong communication skills are key, both verbal and written
- In terms of previous experience, it is important that you have demonstrable Loans Operations experience, whether from an Investment Bank, Loans Agency, Private Credit etc…
- You will understand the trade lifecycle of a loan and have experience of being able to deal with, and resolve, a wide range of issues in a timely manner. Experience of Loan Closing would be helpful
- Be able to build strong working relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders (at all levels), across the Investment teams, Fund Accounting, Treasury, Operations, Investor Relations etc.
- Experience of Wall Street Office (WSO) and / or ClearPar would be advantageous. Proficiency in Excel is a must
- Be a self-starter who can drive and deliver results, and work both collaboratively and independently
