Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Analyst to deliver research and advisory to global clients, leveraging technology to transform financial reporting across record to report processes. You will meet clients daily via videoconference or at Gartner events, delivering insights that help CFOs drive performance.

You will work with experienced analysts to produce practical guidance and select best-fit vendors for clients’ use cases, while continuing to advance knowledge in AI-enabled finance transformation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 8+ years of experience in leading accounting teams supporting record to report in large multinational organisations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting automation vendors and ERP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for transforming controllership processes; guide clients in transforming accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial close using AI and automation.
• Collaborate with a team of analysts to build authoritative research and advice addressing senior finance leaders’ priorities.
• Deliver high quality advice through face-to-face and video presentations with clients.
• Stay ahead of developments in accounting technologies and related transformation strategy.
