You will handle a diverse workload across various surgical specialties, with opportunities for subspecialising.
As an Anaesthetics General Registrar, youare responsible for delivering safe and effective anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties.Youassess patients pre-operatively, develop and implement anaesthetic plans, and administer general, regional, or local anaesthesia under the supervision of a consultant.Youmonitor patients intraoperatively, manage post-operative recovery and pain, and respond to emergencies.You also contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, supervise junior staff, participate in teaching and audits, and stay current with best practices in anaesthesia.
