Job summary

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking an Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our Theatres team. The role offers a highly competitive salary up to £46,581.47 depending upon experience and a full-time, permanent position based in London.

Shifts run 07:30–20:30 with on-call and overtime. You will work within a multidisciplinary perioperative department featuring state‑of‑the‑art theatres and advanced equipment to deliver safe, patient-centred care across multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration is essential.
• UK recognised Anaesthetic Course is essential if NMC Registered.
• ODP qualification is essential if HCPC Registered.
• Evidence of full Occupational Health Clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis, coordinating the care given by all members of the clinical team.
• Act as practice supervisor/assessor, responsible for completing competency documents for junior practitioners within agreed timeframes.
• Manage the clinical workload effectively, ensuring care is prioritised appropriately.
• Demonstrate an insight into own professional development, contributing to the process of identifying own educational and clinical training needs in conjunction with the Team Leader.
• Good oral and written communication skills with clear handwriting and computer literacy.
