Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Anaesthesia team member to support perioperative care, prepare anaesthetic areas and assist anaesthetists to deliver safe surgery in line with national pathways.

You will participate in the pre-anaesthesia checks, maintain equipment and drugs, and uphold professional standards across the MDT. A proactive learner with CPD commitment is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered HCPC or NMC requirements where applicable.
• Commitment to CPD and clinical governance.
• Ability to work across perioperative stages and contribute to safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare anaesthetic room/area in line with guidelines.
• Assist anaesthetists and escalate concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication management per policy.
• Ensure infection prevention controls and equipment readiness.
