This post sits in the anaesthetic team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, covering 14 theatres and four procedural areas. The work centres on anaesthetic care and support to the wider perioperative team, with a rotation through surgical specialities before nights and weekends. The 24/7 service is staffed by resident practitioners, not on-call cover, and the post suits newly qualified practitioners and Band 5s. Applicants need an ODP degree or an anaesthetic course, so nurses must first gain theatre experience.
