Job summary

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) invites applications for the role of Network Manager – Maternity Cover. The post is part-time (17.5 hours per week) on a fixed term basis until 17 October 2027, based in London.

The role focuses on building a multi-country AMR community, high-profile events, and website content, with oversight of budgets and reporting. Ideal candidates will hold a degree level qualification and have experience in academic research administration, budget

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent experience.
• Scientific expertise, ideally in antimicrobial resistance.
• Experience providing proactive administrative support of academic research.
• Ability to monitor budgets, costings, projections and reports.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and foster a multi-country community and platforms to support AMR interventions.
• Develop and curate high-profile events and website content.
• Provide proactive administrative support of academic research, including monitoring budgets and preparing accurate costings, projections and reports.
• Use initiative and judgement to solve problems and manage a busy workload.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
