You will engage with the General Counsel and Risk team, conduct due diligence, assist with research, and help maintain accurate records while balancing priorities in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent experience in compliance.

Description

Join Trowers & Hamlins on a 6 month fixed term contract and develop a career in legal compliance as part of our Business Intake Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in risk and compliance to gain exposure to AML and conflicts processes within a leading international law firm.

Key Responsibilities

This role supports the firm's client onboarding and compliance processes, ensuring AML and conflicts checks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Assist with AML checks and client due diligence reviews.
• Conduct client and matter research using screening tools and databases.
• Verify information submitted by fee earners and support staff.
• Respond to enquiries and provide guidance throughout the onboarding process.
• Carry out conflicts searches and identify potential issues.
• Support the wider Risk & Compliance Team with administrative and compliance-related tasks.
