Job summary

London Ambulance Service NHS Trust in London is seeking personnel to prepare ambulances to the agreed standard ready for operational duty, and to plan and prepare vehicles to meet strict time deadlines across remote and satellite sites. You will collect and transport vehicles between sites and visit hospital sites to retrieve LAS equipment, ensuring availability for crews.

Responsibilities

• To prepare ambulances to the agreed standard ready for operational duty.
• Plan and prepare ambulances to meet strict time deadlines and operational requirements.
• Work at remote and satellite sites.
• Collect and transport vehicles between sites to support operations.
• Visit hospital sites to retrieve LAS equipment to ensure availability.
• Promote LAS values on a day-to-day basis.
• Alert management to issues that may affect service provision and safety.
• Undertake duties with safe, efficient practice as directed by managers.
• Routinely perform duties commensurate with the post, under supervision as needed.
