Job summary

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to join our Medway workshop team. Working on a diverse fleet of ambulances and support vehicles, you will service, inspect and repair to keep frontline services ready to respond across the South East.

You will gain manufacturer and specialist training on Mercedes, MAN, Fiat, EV systems and C1 licence where required, with a supportive team and modern diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and repairing ambulances and emergency vehicles.
• Skilled with diagnostic equipment and fault diagnosis.
• Willingness to undertake manufacturer training and licences.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, inspecting and repairing ambulances and support vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic systems.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing (Class IV and VII).
• Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensuring work complies with safety legislation and standards.
