Job summary

North East Ambulance Service Unified Solutions is seeking a Vehicle Technician to inspect and service fleet vehicles to the highest standards, minimising unscheduled repairs and roadside breakdowns. You will work within NEASUS, supporting essential patient transport services.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with light goods vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes and be proficient with diagnostic systems, electrical and mechanical vehicle components, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining cars, vans and light vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.
• Fully qualified motor vehicle technician.
• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical vehicle systems.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and interpreting results.
