Job summary

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year emergency medical transport and ambulance services across the North West. We require IHCD award or AAP qualification with recent ambulance experience and a Full C1 driving licence to apply.

This permanent role involves working as part of a crew or solo, responding to 999 emergencies and inter-hospital transfers, using advanced driving and clinical skills within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• IHCD award or AAP qualification with recent ambulance experience.
• Full C1 driving licence required.
• No drink driving convictions in the last five years and no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Assist in high-quality pre-hospital clinical care and patient transport.
• Respond to 999 emergencies and inter-hospital transfers.
• Use advanced driving skills under blue light and normal traffic as required.
