North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking experienced Emergency Medical Technicians for a permanent post based in the Barrow and North Cumbria West groups. The role focuses on pre-hospital clinical care, patient transport and responding to 999 emergencies, including inter-hospital transfers and urgent admissions.

Applicants should hold an IHCD technician award or AAP qualification and have recent NHS ambulance experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide pre-hospital clinical care and patient transport.
• Respond to 999 emergencies.
• Carry out inter-hospital transfers and urgent hospital admissions.
• Deliver other allocated patient interventions appropriate to the role.
• Drive under blue lights and in normal traffic to emergency and routine calls.
• Work as a crew or alone, starting care in hospital and pre-hospital settings.
• Select and apply skills and equipment within own training, competency and scope of practice.
