Job summary

EMED Group in Swindon is seeking compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants to support patients to and from medical facilities. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and offers shifts across Mon-Sun, from early morning to late evening. You will play a crucial part in moving patients safely and with empathy.

No ambulance experience is required as full training is provided; benefits include uniform, funded Enhanced DBS, and flexible hours to suit business needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to work flexible shifts Mon-Sun (05:30–00:00).
• Experience in care (HCA, support worker) is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between facilities.
• Assist with patient handling and ensure ambulance safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and staff.
