Job summary

Recruit Build Ltd (Leeds) is seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing consultancy. You will support commercial and financial management from feasibility to completion, helping deliver projects across multiple sectors.

You will report to an Associate QS, work with an experienced team, and have mentoring and APC progression support. Flexible home/site/office working is offered to enable career development.

Qualifications

• You should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• An interest in progressing towards chartered status and APC support is offered.

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost plans, estimates and project budgets.
• Monitoring project costs and producing financial reports.
• Supporting procurement and tendering processes.
• Preparing and managing contract documentation.
• Assessing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Working closely with clients, contractors and professional teams.
• Helping ensure projects are delivered commercially and to a high standard.
