Job summary

Indevor Group in Chorley is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis and insight across the business. You will work closely with the Managing Director to maintain strong financial control while driving efficiency and business improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar accounting or finance role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of VAT, P&L reporting, and credit control.
• Accurate, detail-oriented and proactive with strong communication.
• Ability to work across departments and support the Managing Director.
• Ambitious and career-focused with progression goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare end-of-month management accounts and P&L reports.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and invoices.
• Submit VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance.
• Monitor debtors and manage credit control.
• Analyse financial data to identify cost savings.
• Develop and maintain policies and internal controls.
• Create performance reports and KPIs.
• Support Managing Director with ad hoc tasks.
• Work with finance software to improve processes.
