Job summary

RNN Group in Worksop is seeking an AM2 Centre Manager (Full Cost Delivery Manager) to oversee daily operations, NET compliance, and the learner experience at the AM2 assessment centre.

You will lead a team of assessors and support staff, manage budgets, expand industry partnerships, and ensure testing facilities meet NET standards while delivering high-quality FE delivery.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 (or above) Training qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • Relevant professional qualification in the subject specialism.
  • D32/D33, A1, or TAQA Assessment qualification.
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to undertake).

About The Role

Are you a driven professional with expertise in electrotechnical delivery and operational leadership? RNN Group is seeking an AM2 Centre Manager (Full Cost Delivery Manager) to oversee the daily operations, compliance, quality, and growth of our National Electrotechnical Training (NET) approved AM2 assessment centre.

In this key role, you will ensure our testing facility meets the highest standards set by NET, while delivering a high-quality learning experience for candidates, leading a dedicated team, and expanding our industry partnerships.

Where the Role Fits Within the Group

As part of the RNN Group team, you will report directly to the Director of Campus.

In This Position, You Will
  • Lead the Assessment Team: Provide line management, day-to-day leadership, guidance, and Personal Development Reviews (PDRs) for assessors and support staff in your area.
  • Support Campus Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Campus to manage staffing resources, hit key financial performance indicators, and expand provision.
  • Collaborate Across the Group: Work alongside Management Information Services (MIS) for accurate data handling and represent your department in cross-college teams and working groups.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational & Assessment Management: Co-ordinate and lead the delivery of assessments, oversee candidate registration, scheduling, identity verification, pre-assessment briefings, and prompt uploading of results to the national database.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with NET guidelines, lead course self-assessment (SAR) processes, conduct Internal Quality Assessment (IQA) duties, and uphold academic rigor.
  • Health, Safety & Tool Maintenance: Maintain health and safety standards (including risk assessments and COSHH checks), secure exam materials, and manage the procurement, inventory, and calibration of testing tools and equipment.
  • Financial & Commercial Growth: Manage operational budgets, track assessment fees, maximise assessment bay utilization, and build relationships with local training providers, colleges, and electrical employers to drive booking volume.
  • Candidate Support: Handle candidate enquiries, special considerations, and formal appeals, ensuring every learner receives a high-quality assessment experience.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
  • Level 3 (or above) Training qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • Relevant professional qualification in the subject specialism.
  • D32/D33, A1, or TAQA Assessment qualification.
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to undertake).
Experience
  • Teaching or training experience in a relevant subject area.
  • Relevant experience in supervising staff.
  • Relevant industry or commercial work experience.
Skills & Attributes
  • Ability to design, co-ordinate, and lead curriculum delivery using flexible and innovative methods.
  • Knowledge of Further Education (FE) methodology and delivery expectations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build effective links with industry.
  • An organised, methodical, and flexible approach to work with high professional integrity.
  • A strong commitment to Safeguarding, Data Protection, and promoting Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (FREDIE).
