Job summary

The University of Surrey is seeking an Alumni Engagement Coordinator to join our Advancement team. You will craft engaging content across channels and nurture relationships with more than 160,000 alumni worldwide, helping to keep graduates connected and supportive of the University's future.

You will coordinate storytelling, social media and digital content, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and events teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant area.
• Experience creating engaging content across a range of channels, such as email, websites, magazines, social media and video.
• Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A proactive approach, using initiative and creativity to deliver engaging communications.
• A willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events and alumni activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and create compelling content across a variety of channels, ensuring communications are targeted and engaging.
• Help build and maintain lifelong relationships with alumni across 186 countries.
• Deliver engaging communications that inspire graduates and supporters to stay connected and support the University's future.
