Job summary

Aspire People are working with an Alternative Provision in Leicester to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs, helping them re-engage with education and build confidence.

You will work closely with teachers and the support team in a calm, structured environment. Ideal candidates will have experience with children or young people in SEN/SEMH settings, be patient and resilient, and thrive on making a positive impact

Qualifications

• Must have experience with children or young people, ideally SEN/SEMH/alternative provision.
• Patient and resilient, able to support challenging behaviour.
• Capable of building strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant - Leicester

Location: Leicester

Pay: 105 per day

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 5 days a week

Start Date: ASAP / dependent on availability

Aspire People have partnered with an Alternative Provision setting in Leicester who are looking for an experienced and resilient Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with children and young people who may have additional needs, challenging behaviour, SEMH needs or barriers to mainstream education.

You will play an important role in helping pupils re-engage with education, develop their confidence and make positive progress.
