Job summary

Keep Education is recruiting for Alternative Provision Teaching Assistants (Supply) across all areas. Roles are on a supply basis with hours from 9:00am to 3:00pm, offering flexible opportunities for part-time or full-time engagement.

You will support pupils facing social, emotional or behavioural challenges in Alternative Provision settings. We are seeking calm, patient and enthusiastic individuals with experience working with children or young people and strong behaviour management and

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people, ideally in Alternative Provision, PRUs, SEMH or SEN settings.
• Is calm, resilient, patient and understanding.
• Has strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
• Can adapt to different settings and meet the needs of individual pupils.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils who may face social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
• Helping students engage with learning and reach their full potential.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
