We are looking for an experienced Alternative Provision & Inclusion Support Worker to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of young people who may have struggled to engage with mainstream education.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within Alternative Provision and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people who may have experienced barriers to education, behavioural difficulties, social and emotional needs, or disengagement from learning.
You will work closely with young people on a one-to-one and small-group basis, providing consistent support, encouragement and positive role modelling.

The successful applicant will undergo an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, online checks, and all required safeguarding checks. The successful candidate will support pupils who access alternative provision, bespoke educational packages and reduced timetables. Working alongside the safeguarding, attendance and pastoral teams, you will help ensure vulnerable pupils remain safe, engaged and able to access suitable educational opportunities. The role includes regular liaison with families, external professionals and alternative provision providers to support positive outcomes for pupils with complex needs.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
