Castlefield School in High Wycombe is seeking a Lead Practitioner for Resourced Alternative Provision to lead our team and support a small group of pupils with bespoke education within our mainstream school.
You will work with a professional, supportive team, deliver specialist strategies for SEN and provide exciting, enriching learning opportunities. The post offers CPD and a clear leadership path within our alternative provision.

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled individual to lead our team and support a small group of pupils in our Alternative Provision.
Salary Grade: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Contract: Fixed term
Hours: This is a 35 hours per week post (initially fixed for a year), Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:45pm, term time only, including INSET days.
Start date: November 2026 or earlier if possible.

Our Alternative Provision provides a small group of pupils with a bespoke specialist education within our mainstream school. The approach for each pupil is tailored to their needs and a broad curriculum is in place. Staff are trained to deliver specialist support including SALT and specific OT strategies.
