Job summary

TQR Consultancy Ltd in Plymouth is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for a large manufacturer. You will perform detailed mechanical assembly, QA, and ensure adherence to SOPs while meeting production targets.

Role requires experience in fast-paced manufacturing, ability to follow written instructions, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. There is a 20% shift premium for night work and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling hydraulics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete production paperwork promptly.
• Proactive, flexible and adaptable attitude with a team spirit.
• Ability to work to set production targets and maintain quality.
• Strong eye for detail and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic pumps and/or motors per SOPs.
• Test hydraulic units to customer specifications after training.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Hit hourly production targets and adhere to production controls.
• Understand KPIs and achieve production targets.
• Log breakdowns and communicate with supervision and maintenance.
• Maintain 5S standards and seek continuous improvement.
• Perform daily checks per production engineering and quality procedures.
