Syntech Recruitment Ltd in Aylesbury is partnering with a well‑established manufacturing business to recruit a Mechanical Assembler for a permanent AM shift role.

The position combines hands‑on assembly with reading engineering drawings and following strict build instructions to meet tight tolerances. You will contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement while operating from 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, in a structured production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret 3rd angle projection engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting Third Angle Projection engineering drawings.
• Carrying out precision mechanical fitting and assembly work to high standards.
• Working from engineering instructions and build documentation.
• Following guidance from engineers, project managers and team leaders.
• Participating in quality control processes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining high standards of output and workmanship.
• Supporting wider production duties when required.
• Operating and working safely around production plant and machinery.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
