Zusammenfassung

Prospero Teaching is seeking Teaching Assistants in the Abergavenny area. The role supports learners across all aspects of learning, including those with additional needs.

The position is temporary, full-time, and typically runs term-time only from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants should have experience with SEND, strong behaviour management, up-to-date safeguarding training, and be prepared to lead outdoor activities with children when needed.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working with children/adults with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
• Two professional child-related references.

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience of working with children/adults with additional needs.
• Good behaviour management skills
• Up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training issued in the last year
• The candidate will need to be quite sporty and willing to take children out of lessons to play from time to time.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references

Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
