Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in KS1 at a Cardiff primary school. This is a long-term vacancy starting September 2026.

The ideal candidate will have SEN experience and energy. An enhanced DBS and EWC registration are required, with two references and a degree preferred. Salary will reflect qualifications and experience, with consultant support and a refer-a-friend scheme.

Academics are currently recruiting for the ideal person to work as a 1:1 with a pupil in KS1 at a Cardiff primary school, starting from September 2026. The school is one that we have an excellent working relationship with and is always popular with TA's and Teachers who have been there.

The successful candidate will be someone who, ideally, has experience of working in an SEN setting and has bundles of energy.
