Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience with ALN/SEN students in a school or specialist setting is preferred.
• Desirable knowledge of the ALN Code for Wales.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for ALN students.
• Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions.
• Develop, implement, and review IDPs for ALN learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures.
