Job summary

Crew Clothing Company in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a Merchandising Co-ordinator to join our team. This role focuses on allocation/stock control, analysis, and commercial awareness to ensure optimal product availability across stores.

You will manage stock levels, input allocation parameters, and build delivery schedules with suppliers, while leveraging data to drive merchandising decisions and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills and high accuracy in data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and IT systems.
• Understanding of distribution and stock management principles.

Responsibilities

• Allocation/Stock control: manage stock levels, set up allocations, coordinate deliveries, and maintain stock transfers.
• Analysis/Administration: produce sales, stock and trend analysis; process orders and update deliveries; maintain records.

Kingston-Upon-Thames (4 days in office, 1 day from home)

37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

Allocation/Stock control

• Allocate and manage stock levels to plan in line with grading strategy.
• Input initial allocation parameters on the system.
• To set up and manage delivery schedules, working with suppliers to achieve high launch availability.
• Carry out regular branch merchandising analysis and take action to maintain balanced product offer in all stores.
• Build opening stock packages for new stores.
• Progress chase orders and build relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain regular contact with stores directly and carry out stock transfers when necessary.

Analysis / Administration

• Produce sales, stock, profit and trend analysis as required by Merchandiser.
• Process orders and update deliveries.
• Maintain data and keep all records updated.
• Liaise with distribution, stores and suppliers
• Carry out any ad-hoc duties to support the department as and when required.

Commercial Awareness

• Keen interest in product, trends and market activity.
• Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the Crew market and target client base.
