Job summary

Zachary Daniels in East London is seeking an organised Allocator to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time for a growing women's fashion retailer.

You will work closely with the Buying & Merchandising team to allocate stock across the concession estate, monitor performance, analyze weekly reports and support administration, with exposure to stores, DC and e-commerce operations.

Qualifications

• Experience within retail, merchandising, buying administration or allocations (intern or placement year).
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Good Excel and IT skills.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career in merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Allocate stock across the concession estate.
• Monitor sales performance, stock levels and availability.
• Analyse weekly trading reports and identify replenishment opportunities.
• Co-ordinate product samples for e-commerce photography and supplier reviews.
• Liaise with suppliers, the distribution centre, stores and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate product and stock records.
• Support the wider Buying & Merchandising team with day-to-day administration.

With a growing network of stores, e‑commerce and a large concession estate across the UK, this is a busy business where there is always something happening!

What will you be doing?

Working closely with the Buying & Merchandising team, you'll play a key role in making sure stores have the right stock at the right time.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Allocating stock across the concession estate
• Monitoring sales performance, stock levels and availability
• Analysing weekly trading reports and identifying replenishment opportunities
• Helping to maximise availability and sell-through
• Coordinating product samples for e-commerce photography, buying meetings, fit sessions and supplier reviews
• Liaising with suppliers, the distribution centre, stores and internal teams
• Maintaining accurate product and stock records
• Supporting the wider Buying & Merchandising team with day-to-day administration

What are we looking for?

This role would suit someone who is organised, analytical and keen to learn.

You will need to have experience within retail, merchandising, buying administration or allocations perhaps as an intern or placement year.
