Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking friendly Restaurant Waiting Staff for year-round, part-time work at our hotels in the UK. No previous experience is essential; a positive attitude and willingness to help guests is valued.

You’ll join a welcoming team and support kitchen staff to deliver a smooth dining experience. Evening shifts, weekends and bank holidays are included, with opportunities for progression and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or waiting experience is helpful but isn't essential.
• Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking with guests.
• Positive and upbeat with a willingness to get involved.
• Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, attentive and efficient service to our guests.
• Welcoming guests into the dining room and ensuring they have everything they need throughout their meal.
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure meals are served efficiently and guest requirements are communicated clearly.
• Ensuring all dietary requirements are correctly identified and communicated to the chefs.
• Responding positively to guest requests and helping to resolve any issues.
• Working confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming dining environment.
• Providing the excellent customer service that Daish’s is known for.
