Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Head of Airside at Belfast International Airport to lead airside services, including ramp, bag hall, dispatch, cleaning and deicing where applicable. The role carries P&L responsibility, safety leadership, and accountability for delivering high-quality performance.

You will lead a diverse workforce, develop talent, and drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction, while collaborating with station management and central functions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams with P&L accountability.
• Excellent English (spoken and written) and stakeholder management.
• Ability to adapt to change and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Safety leader: enforce health, safety, and compliance across airport operations.
• P&L management: prepare budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Lead with strong communication to heads of departments and support functions.
• Drive operational efficiency by resource planning and KPI monitoring.
• Develop talent through mentoring, coaching and succession planning.
• Foster customer-centric culture and strong relationships with unions and regulators.
