Airside Bus Driver

Location: Lowfield Heath, Gatwick Airport

Reporting to: Duty Management Team (LGW)

Shift Pattern: Various shifts, 40-42 hours per week, including weekends, bank holidays, and holiday periods, covering a 24/7 operation.

Salary: £33,384 - £35,053 per year

Job Overview

Responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of airport and airline passengers, ground staff, crew members, and other clients between designated transfer points. Operates buses, minibuses, or cars, and may perform other driving duties such as Bowsers, high lifts, and deicing vehicles. Full training provided. Primarily airside, with flexibility to work in other areas as needed.

Person Specification (Essential)

• Valid PCV licence (D, D1) with no more than three points
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to pass and maintain an Airside Pass and driving Permit, including background checks
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive attitude
• Flexibility for short-notice location changes and additional shifts
