Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our client DHL Express at East Midlands Airport for the busy seasonal period from November through December.

You will drive a van, perform vehicle checks, keep delivery records and provide excellent service at delivery and collection points, while adhering to airport security procedures. This role includes early starts, weekly pay, and training.

Qualifications

• Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience)
• Criminal record check (paid for by us)
• 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Responsibilities

• Driving vans to and from East Midlands Airport
• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Following all airport security procedures
