Job summary

Catering seeks a proactive Site Manager for a permanent role at East Midlands Airport. You will deliver on-site construction and M&E projects, acting as the primary on-site representative and day-to-day client contact while driving safety, quality and timely delivery.

You will lead coordination of teams, manage budgets, identify opportunities for extra works, and build strong relationships with airport stakeholders. This is a signification client-facing, independent role near Diseworth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, mechanical, electrical, or building services projects.
• Personable, professional, and confident when working directly with clients.
• Strong understanding of both construction and M&E environments.
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities and contribute to business growth.
• Capable of estimating and pricing smaller works packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of construction and M&E projects across East Midlands Airport.
• Act as the primary on-site representative for the company.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with airport stakeholders and clients.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and project resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Identify opportunities for additional works and help develop new business opportunities within the airport environment.
• Prepare estimates, quotations, and pricing for small works and minor projects.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain excellent standards of communication, professionalism, and customer service.
