Position: Airline Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Airline Security Officer to join our team at the EMA Hub in Derbyshire. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing security protocols to ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations. You will collaborate with DHL Security colleagues, industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement to enhance our security measures and maintain our commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the Security Management System of DHL Air (UK) in line with international regulatory requirements and IOSA standards.
2. Manage multiple internal regulated documents defining security policies and procedures applicable to various international security programmes.
3. Ensure compliance with the UK/EU ACC3 cargo security regimes to operate seamlessly in accordance with network demand.
4. Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
5. Serve as the Cyber Security Responsible Manager, analyzing IT processes for vulnerabilities and implementing improvements per UK CAA requirements.
6. Engage with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to influence security regulation changes.
7. Address regulatory shortfalls and recommend compliance strategies.
8. Act as a point of contact for DHL Air (UK) foreign Operator approvals as required.
9. Produce and maintain Security Risk Assessments.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field.
2. Ability to achieve CTC clearance or higher.
3. At least 3 years of experience in an aviation security role, preferably within an airline environment.
4. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines.
5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
