Job summary

Rhenus SE & Co. KG is seeking an organised individual to liaise with customers daily, process requests, and book shipments.

You will raise shipment files in ROCS and prepare all related documents, ensuring costs and sales are recorded accurately. The role involves handling quotation requests for air import/export, communicating with overseas offices, and coordinating with airlines to obtain rates and bookings.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with customers on a daily basis.
• Processing customer request and booking shipments in line with customer request
• Raising accurate shipment files in Rhenus' in house forwarding system (ROCS) and all associated documents.
• Ensure all costs & sales are entered for each shipment and highlighting any loss making files to the Team Leader
• Receiving quotation enquiries for both Air import and export shipments
• Answering Overseas office e-mails.
• Dealing directly with the Airlines to obtain rates and make bookings
• Following up on customer quotations for feedback.
• Growing the airfreight business, contacting potential customers, engaging with customers on a regular basis
• Liaising with suppliers / carriers in the booking of shipments
• General office duties including filing of documentation and shipment files
