Job summary

Right Now Group is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join a busy freight forwarding team. This role handles airfreight import shipments from origin to delivery, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will work with customers, overseas agents, customs teams, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely shipments while maintaining profitability and compliance. Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight imports and customs procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with ASM, FCL or similar freight systems.
• GCSEs in Maths and English required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate airfreight import shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Provide shipment updates and resolve queries promptly.
• Liaise with overseas agents, customers, and service providers to ensure timely movement of freight.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues.
• Support invoicing by reviewing shipment files for accuracy and profitability.
• Prepare customer quotations and verify supplier invoices.
