Job summary

Belfast International Airport Ltd. is seeking a Building and Civil Engineering Maintenance Operative to join the B&CE team. You will help maintain airfield and terminal facilities in line with safety policies and deliver excellent customer service to colleagues and passengers.

The role includes grass cutting, basic carpentry and plumbing, painting, and routine repairs. It is a 39-hour week, temporary until end of June 2026, with shifts Monday to Friday and a salary of £27,429 per annum.

Qualifications

• Carrying out maintenance and grass cutting on the airfield per company policies.
• Minor joinery and carpentry works to support maintenance tasks.
• Maintenance of furniture and floor coverings.
• Repair and maintenance of fire equipment and domestic water services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out airfield maintenance and grass cutting using tractor equipment.
• Support general maintenance within terminal and airfield.
• Minor plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• Minor surfacing repairs airside.
• Maintenance of furniture and flooring.
• Attend to oil spillages and other materials on the airfield.
