Job summary

Manchester Airport Plc is seeking a proactive civil maintenance operative to join a close-knit team of four. You will help maintain airfield pavements, coordinate with airport stakeholders, and contribute to high-quality repairs, line markings and grounds maintenance.

The role offers on-site training, though some qualifications such as road works and HGV are desirable. You must be physically fit with a valid driving licence and be prepared for on-call duties to ensure safety and operational

Qualifications

Previous civil maintenance experience is desirable but training will be provided.
HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of pavement inspections and condition assessments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality pavement repairs, line marking, and grounds maintenance.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on airside and landside assets.
Inspect runway and airfield systems, pavement and water management equipment.
Ensure work complies with policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable CAA guidelines.
Identify hazards and defects and respond to safety and operational standards.
Work as a self-motivated team member with attention to quality and problem-solving.
