About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician to install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft electronic systems and components in Randburg . You will ensure that all navigation, communication, flight control, and other electronic systems function correctly and safely. This role demands a deep understanding of electronics, a methodical approach to troubleshooting, and adherence to strict aviation standards. Become a key part of our maintenance team, upholding the technological integrity of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain avionics systems, including navigation, communication, autopilot, and radar equipment.
• Perform scheduled inspections and functional tests of avionics components and systems.
• Interpret avionics system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Calibrate avionics instruments and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Document all maintenance actions, test results, and parts used in the aircraft logbook and maintenance system.
• Ensure all work performed complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel and engineers to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician.
• Relevant avionics certification (e.g., EASA Part 66, FAA Airframe & Powerplant with Avionics rating).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, digital electronics, and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in Randburg.
