Job summary

World Fuel Services at Luton Airport seeks an Aircraft Refuelling Operator to safely handle and transport aviation fuel, record movements accurately and deliver excellent customer service, with full training provided.

A LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years’ refuelling experience is required, you must live within 45 minutes of Luton, and be able to obtain airport security clearance; you should be flexible for a 24‑hour shift and willing to cover holidays and sickness.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years’ experience.
• Fuel tanker/refuelling experience is a strong advantage.
• Live within 45 minutes of Luton Airport.
• Able to pass airport security clearance, including a criminal record check.
• Flexible hours within a 24-hour shift plan.
• Willingness to cover holidays and sickness with overtime.
• Basic numeracy, English language and IT/data entry skills.
• Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, store, and transport aviation fuel
• Conduct into-plane refuelling in line with company procedures
• Accurately record fuel movements and transactions
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols
• Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations
• Support vehicle and manpower planning
• Maintain training and competency in all fuel handling procedures
