Job summary

World Fuel Services is seeking an Aviation Refuelling Operator at Birmingham Airport. You will fuel aircraft safely and efficiently, handle fuel, and work with airline customers in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

The role requires a Class 1 (C+E) licence and a strong commitment to safety, with training provided and opportunities to grow within aviation fuel operations.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 2 years' current LGV Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable refuelling services to aircraft at Birmingham Airport.
• Handle, store, and transport aviation fuel while maintaining quality control standards.
• Follow SSHE (Safety, Security, Health and Environment) procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and ensure equipment remains operational.
• Record fuel deliveries, stock movements, and sales transactions accurately.
• Monitor product quality and complete required operational documentation.
• Respond to operational incidents and emergencies per established procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service as a key point of contact for airline and airport customers.
• Support day-to-day operational planning to ensure aircraft are serviced safely and on time.
• Complete required training and maintain operational competency standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
