Job summary

Safran Landing Systems is seeking an Inspector at our Gloucester site to inspect aircraft landing gear components and ensure serviceable condition with minimal repairs, following approved maintenance data.

You will be part of the Production team, contributing to safety and reliability of critical systems, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive, inclusive workplace culture at Safran.

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship (aerospace/manufacturing) or Level 3 NVQ is essential.
• Background in working with aircraft components.
• Confident communicator with team members and other areas.
• IT literate and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Sound mathematical skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Understanding of Lean Sigma, 5S principles.
• Experience with continuous improvement activities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sentence a wide variety of aircraft landing gear components to return them to serviceable condition with minimal repairs.
• Ensure safety and reliability of critical aircraft systems.
• Contribute to Safran's mission of excellence in aerospace.
