Job summary

Babcock International Group in RAF Aldergrove, Northern Ireland, is seeking an Aircraft Inspector to perform high‑standard inspections and maintenance, from scheduled servicing to Check A tasks, ensuring safety, compliance and contract delivery. You’ll play a key part in day‑to‑day operations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Prepare aircraft for daily operations and inspections.
• Experience in Part 145 maintenance environments is preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and corrective maintenance on the LAFT aircraft fleet, including aircraft handling
• Supervise and certify technician staff in line with regulatory standards
• Perform pre-use checks and scheduled maintenance on ground support equipment, ensuring full documentation compliance
• Carry out general duties as assigned, including driving, stores support, and housekeeping
• Accurately complete all maintenance documentation in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
