Woodward at Prestwick is seeking an Inspector to join the Final Inspection team. You will perform standard inspections of fuel control systems, document results, and communicate findings to the team in compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role requires a UK technical trade apprenticeship or equivalent aviation experience, with a minimum age of 21. You will work under the Logistics Supervisor and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• UK technical trade apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in an aviation background.
• 2 years of aeronautical experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years due to aviation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Routine Inspections: Performs standard inspections following established procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Record and Report Data: Accurately documents inspection results and communicates findings to team members using designated reporting systems.
• Operate Inspection Equipment: Utilizes basic technical tools and equipment to carry out inspections and gather necessary data.
• Maintain Compliance Standards: Adheres to defined operating procedures and quality guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable inspection processes.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Shares technical information and collaborates with colleagues to support team objectives and integrate inspection activities with other departmental functions.
