Job summary

STS Engine Services, based in Stansted, United Kingdom, is seeking a Technical Planner to support aircraft engine maintenance planning within a fast-paced MRO environment.

The role involves planning, preparing and controlling engine maintenance work scopes, ensuring technical data, tooling, materials and documentation are in place before work begins, and coordinating with Workshop Management and internal stakeholders to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft maintenance or aviation maintenance environment.
• Experience in maintenance planning.
• Understanding of Part-145 maintenance organisation requirements.
• Familiarity with CAA, FAA and EASA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan aircraft engine maintenance inductions in line with capacity plan and customer requirements.
• Review customer work scopes and prepare maintenance work packs.
• Identify tooling, equipment, materials, consumables and components before engine induction.
• Liaise with Workshop Management to review manpower requirements.
• Review competency and certification requirements for planned maintenance activity.
• Identify resource constraints that may affect scheduled engine inductions.
• Support updates to the Capacity Plan and visibility of planned maintenance activity.
• Support the review and closure of completed maintenance work packs.
